1/2/2016: a friend gave me a
fifi sdr for christmas! after putting it together though,
it didn't work. :( i tried some different things, and read a bit through their ticket system but
wasn't able to tell whether problems i had was due to my soldering (which is probably
the reason) or something else. so, i gave in and bought a radio! it's a dual-band
yaesu ft-7900r.
